Dog Hydrotherapy Services
All dogs will require a signed veterinary consent form before they can be swum.
It is important that all dogs receive a post-swim shower to remove pool water as this can sometimes cause irritation if left on the skin/fur. Plus - our Bugalugs shampoos smell great!
All new clients will receive a post-swim shower with shampoo and drying.
Established clients can choose to complete the post-swim shower themselves using our facilities or have the hydrotherapist provide this for an additional £5.
Established rehabilitation clients will have a post-swim shower provided by the hydrotherapist as this is part of the rehabilitative process.

Rehabilitation Swim
For dogs with health conditions (either pre- or post-operatively) including:
- Hip/Elbow Dysplasia
- Cruciate Ligament Disease & Ruptures
- Luxating Patella
- Osteoarthritis
- Spinal Injuries & Degenerative Diseases

Weight Management Swim
Swimming is an excellent form of non-weight bearing exercise for those dogs who are struggling with their weight.
We closely monitor weight during these sessions.

Puppy/Water Confidence Swim
Swimming is great for puppies as it helps to build muscle and strengthen tendons/ligaments without putting stress on the growing joints.
Puppies will be accepted from 4 months.
The pool environment is also helpful for those dogs who are not confident around water as they can learn to swim without fear.

Fitness Swim
For those dogs who do not require hydrotherapy for a particular condition.
Swimming can add variety to your dogs exercise routine with great cardiovascular benefits as well as providing mental enrichment.
